Wine and cheese, they go together and complement each other perfectly. One of my favourites out of the places we visited simply because it combines the two.
On the wine side they have a large selection of both reds and whites as well as a few fortified wines thrown in for good measure. While the list is too long to go into individually, the two that stood out for us were the Three Cabernets which is a blend of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Ruby Cabernet grapes, very nice and the Vintage Port. The prices were maybe a little above average but weren’t too bad.
While the wines were good, for me it was the cheese that really made the difference. They make a full selection ranging from creamy soft cheeses right through to the strong flavourful blue cheeses. Again there are far too many to go into suffice to say that all of the cheeses we tried were fabulous.
