Harissa Sauce

A sauce recipe with beautiful African and Middle-Eastern flavours that can be used in dishes such as Couscous or as a base for a Rouille sauce.

Ingredients

½ Roasted Red Pepper
1 tsp tomato puree
½  tsp ground coriander
A pinch of Saffron strands
1 medium - hot red Dutch Chilli
¼ tsp cayenne pepper
¼ tsp salt

Directions

Chop the roasted pepper flesh and red chilli roughly.

Roasted Red Pepper
Blend until smooth

Put the roasted pepper, tomato puree, ground coriander, saffron, chilli, cayenne pepper and salt into a food processor.

Blend until you obtain a smooth paste.
