Smoked Salmon Mousse Canapés
Impress your guests with these delicious and easy to make Smoked Salmon Mousse canapés. |
Ingredients |

100g cream cheese
1 tbsp thickened cream
Juice of ½ a lemon
100 g smoked salmon
Salt, pepper to taste
1 telegraph cucumber
A few baby capers to decorate |
Directions |
Step 1
In a small hand blender, combine the cream cheese, the cream and lemon juice until you obtain a smooth paste. |

Step 2
Slice the smoked salmon and add it to the paste in the blender. Blend all ingredients until well combined. Season well and place the mousse in the fridge for about ½ an hour. |
Step 3
Meanwhile, while the mousse is chilling, use a potato peeler to peel four strips down the length of the cucumber so as to make a stripe pattern. Then cut the cucumber in 1 cm slices. |

Step 4
Using a piping bag, decorate the cucumber with the salmon mousse. |
Step 5
Add one of the capers to each of the canapés as a finishing touch.
You should usually budget for about three to four canapés per person. |
