Ingredients

250g Punnet of fresh Strawberries.

150g White chocolate buttons.

Directions

Step 1

Melt the chocolate. I use a microwave oven to do this with 30 second bursts at 30% power, stirring between each burst.

See our How to Melt Chocolate page for the details on how to melt the chocolate if you don't have a microwave oven available.

Melt the White Chocolate
Dip into chocolate

Step 2

Gently lift the strawberry leaves so that you can use them as a sort of handle during the coating process. Once you have hold of the leaves, dip the strawberry into the chocolate and use a teaspoon to coat the entire berry right up to the leaves.

Step 3

Once coated, put the Strawberries on a plate lined with grease proof paper to dry. Once all of the Strawberries are coated, set the plate asside until the chocolate sets completely.

Place coated berries on grease proof paper.
Serve after a meal with coffee.

Step 4

Once the chocolate has set they are ready to serve. As a suggestion, they are very good when accompanied with a coffee after a meal.

Preperation time:
Yield: 9 - 12 strawberries depending on their size.
